Front Desk Manager

The SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel, located on Olentangy River Road near The Ohio State University campus is looking for a full-time Front Desk Manager. The hours would normally be from 3p-11p depending on the day of the week which are usually Tuesday-Saturday. The Front Desk Manager is responsible for the success of the entire Front Desk/Night Audit Area, for ensuring guest satisfaction and product quality standards are met and for managing all areas of the hotel according to Brand Standards to achieve a friendly atmosphere of superior guest service and product quality. The successful candidate will supervise all Front Desk and Night Audit Staff as well as conduct training for the staff to ensure all operations are running smoothly from the computer systems to financial control procedures like banking, safe counts and refunds to great customer service. The Front Desk Manager interacts heavily with staff and guests and attention to detail is also a must. This position also is the Manager in charge of the hotel bar, ensuring that beverages are ordred and the appropriate Cost of Beverage is maintained. The successful candidate will display professionalism, passion for training, customer/guest service, good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task during busy/stressful times. Hotel experience is strongly preferred. This is a full-time position and this person is part of the Hotel Leadership Team. Traditional days off are Sundays and Mondays.
