In this role, you will ensure that every guest room and our public area meets the high Marriott standards of cleanliness and comfort.  Fostering a positive and inviting atmosphere throughout the property. 

The SpringHill Suites by Marriott BHAM Colonnade Grandview is a fine 120 All-Suite Hotel.  Located immediately off Exit #19 on I-459 and Hwy #280, the hotel location makes an easy and simple presence and commute.  A well-kept property, a positive location, good pay and benefits including free and safe parking makes this hotel a smart choice to consider working.   

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to maintain pristine conditions.
• Restock amenities like towels & toiletries to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas including hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms with consistent attention to detail.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and safety compliance by the maintenance team.
• Follow all safety protocols and cleaning procedures to create a secure environment for guests and staff

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, janitorial work or custodial roles is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a strong work ethic.
• Demonstrated ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hygiene.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with energy and professionalism.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move around for extended periods throughout shifts.
