The SpringHill Suites by Marriott BHAM Colonnade Grandview is a fine 120 All-Suite Hotel. Located immediately off Exit #19 on I-459 and Hwy #280, the hotel location makes an easy and simple presence and commute. Duties- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage 2nd shift guest check-in processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and front desk software - brand new Marriott standard STAY pms.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately while maintaining up-to-date records.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, offering helpful information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest requests are fulfilled swiftly via communication devices including front desk logbook
- Maintain professional phone etiquette and manage multiple communication channels to assist guests effectively
Experience- Previous experience in hotel management operations or front desk operations within a hotel, resort or hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with hotel PMS software, reservation systems, and multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of hospitality best practices, guest services, and hotel procedures to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Proven ability to manage guest relations with professionalism, patience, enthusiasm and a smile!
