Job Summary:
The Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, comfortable, and inviting environment for guests. This role ensures all guest rooms and public areas meet brand and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries
- Dust, vacuum, mop floors, and sanitize bathrooms
- Restock room supplies such as soap, shampoo, coffee, and paper products
- Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks) to management
- Ensure all rooms are inspected and ready for guest check-in
- Clean and maintain public areas (hallways, lobby, laundry rooms, etc.)
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
- Turn in lost and found items per hotel policyQualifications:
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (not required)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25–50 lbs
- Ability to push/pull housekeeping carts
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
