Duties
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing all surfaces to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Perform detailed window cleaning and floor care to uphold the property’s aesthetic appeal.
- Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing.
- Use cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, pressure washers, and janitorial tools safely and effectively.
- Manage chemical handling with strict adherence to safety protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Conduct sanitation procedures in public areas, restrooms, and kitchens to meet infection control standards.
- Assist with custodial tasks like waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of storage areas.
- Support heavy lifting requirements for moving furniture or equipment while following manual handling safety guidelines.
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health regulations and company policies on sanitation and infection control.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service by addressing guest requests promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Prior custodial or janitorial experience preferred, especially in commercial or hospitality settings.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques such as window cleaning, pressure washing, and floor care is advantageous.
- Experience with cleaning equipment operation and chemical handling enhances effectiveness on the job.
- Knowledge of infection control practices ensures safe environments for guests and staff alike.
