Job Summary
Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Night Auditor, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless overnight operations and delivering exceptional guest experiences. As the Night Auditor, you will oversee front desk activities during the night shift, manage guest accounts, and uphold hotel standards for safety, security, and service excellence. Your energetic and detail-oriented approach will help create a welcoming environment for guests arriving or departing during nighttime hours while maintaining efficient property management procedures.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures using hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or similar PMS platforms.
- Monitor hotel security through CCTV surveillance, patrols, and adherence to emergency procedures to ensure guest safety and property integrity.
- Manage night audit processes by reconciling daily financial transactions, updating guest accounts, and preparing reports for management review.
- Handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing accurate information and directing calls efficiently while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries, resolve service issues with customer service problem-solving skills, and ensure guest relations are prioritized at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of all night activities, incident reports, and shift logs to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
- Enforce hotel policies and emergency procedures to safeguard guests, staff, and property during overnight hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations; resort experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms used in hotel management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, guest services standards, and hospitality reservation systems.
- Excellent phone communication skills with proficiency in multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in hotel experience or front desk roles emphasizing guest relations and customer service problem-solving.
