Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, residential units, or common areas including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items efficiently.
• Maintain floor care through sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and carpet cleaning to ensure pristine surfaces.
• Manage janitorial tasks including restocking supplies, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring all cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition.
• Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including sweeping walkways or maintaining outdoor communal areas for safety and appearance.
• Practice proper manual handling techniques when lifting heavy furniture or equipment to prevent injury.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest or resident requests and addressing concerns with professionalism and positivity.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor care methods including carpet cleaning.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work activities.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests or residents.
• Experience in laundry operations and custodial responsibilities is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment and supplies used in hospitality or residential settings.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
