Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all residential surfaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing to ensure a pristine environment.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures effectively across bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas to promote health and hygiene.
- Strip all linen from rooms.
- Operate cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners and other janitorial tools to maintain floors and surfaces.
- Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely while adhering to proper handling protocols.
- Maintain and keep carts clean.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific needs and deliver personalized housekeeping services that meet their expectations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and surface sanitation.
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work when necessary.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple homes or areas. Must be able to clean rooms within 30 minutes.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their preferences and needs.
- Prior experience in hotel environments or residential housekeeping is a plus.
