Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional check-in experience.
- Manage guest reservations efficiently using hotel management software, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person with excellent phone etiquette and clear communication.
- Assist guests with their needs, including room changes, special requests, and local recommendations to enhance their stay.
- Operate multi-line phone systems to answer questions, direct calls, and provide information promptly.
- Conduct night audits by reconciling daily transactions, updating records, and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest concerns swiftly and effectively.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold hospitality standards at all times while managing guest relations with enthusiasm.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles, especially at the front desk or in guest services.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and experience with night audit procedures preferred.
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently.
- Previous hotel experience in resort or hospitality environments is advantageous.
