Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms
- Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, addressing guest inquiries and reservations promptly
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Assist guests with requests, complaints, or issues using customer service problem-solving skills to ensure satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest stays, reservations, and billing details while adhering to hotel emergency procedures when necessary
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs swiftly and effectively
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within hotels or resorts
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and problem-solving
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS)
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent phone communication skills, including handling multi-line phone systems and managing guest inquiries professionally
- Previous hotel experience, especially in resort settings or night audit functions, is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work weekends consistently from early morning through mid-afternoon hours
