Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests enjoy a delightful breakfast experience. You will prepare and present food items, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area with food items, beverages, and utensils.
- Ensure all food is presented attractively and in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections and provide exceptional customer service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha or Micros.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Follow all food safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food handling practices.
- Experience with POS systems (Aloha, Micros) is a plus.
- Customer service experience in hospitality or related fields.
- Strong communication skills and phone etiquette.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of dietary needs and meal preparation is beneficial.
