We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead our facilities maintenance team in ensuring the optimal operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems across our manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise facilities maintenance teams, providing clear direction and leadership to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems, including HVAC units, plumbing systems, electrical circuits (including high and low voltage), and mechanical equipment.
- Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to optimize equipment uptime.
- Lead projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to meet operational goals.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and industry standards, conducting regular safety audits and training sessions.
- Monitor the performance of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation systems to support manufacturing processes.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety compliance for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve mechanical systems repair processes and facility management practices.
- Manage inventory levels for parts such as ohmmeters, meters for electrical testing, and other tools essential for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience managing facilities or industrial maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting.
- Extensive electrical experience including working with high voltage (HV) and low voltage systems; familiarity with schematics is essential.
- Skilled in HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and general industrial maintenance practices.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), engineering troubleshooting methods, and automation controls.
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management and maintenance planning.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial facilities management; ability to enforce safety protocols effectively.
- Ability to read technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
