What are the responsibilities and job description for the OR Coordinator- Gulf Coast Surgical Partners position at Springhill Medical Center?
Hours Per Week: 80
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required .
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current nursing license in the state of Alabama.
- Must have current CPR certification.
- ACLS certification is required and may be obtained during the first 90 days of employment.
Experience in Orthopedics and outpatient surgery preferred.
Must be able to communicate effectively and have an ability to work compatibly with all physicians and staff.
Must receive positive physician reviews.
Possess strong organizational skills and a clear understanding of the importance of efficiency and cost effectiveness in an outpatient surgery center.
Possess the knowledge and clinical skills to perform the job duties as OR Coordinator.
Knowledge of aseptic technique and anesthetic agents and complications is required.
Must possess a thorough knowledge of all procedures performed in the Surgery Center.
