What are the responsibilities and job description for the Monitor Tech - Post Surgical/Telemetry position at Springhill Medical Center?
Hours Per Week: 40
Welcome! We are excited to meet you and have you potentially join our urology/tele/post-surgical family. We are a fast-paced 40 bed unit that caters to those recently out of surgery including spinal, urological, and general surgical procedures. We also occasionally care for post-surgical patients requiring satellite telemetry monitoring.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Education Requirements:
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of a Monitor Technician training program or monitor tech experience required.
- Must have a working knowledge of medical terminology and have excellent customer service and computer skills.
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
