The Accounting Intern will provide support to the Corporate Accounting and Finance Department while gaining practical experience in accounting operations within a healthcare environment. This position will assist with routine accounting functions, financial reporting, reconciliations, data entry, research, and other departmental projects under the guidance of experienced accounting professionals.
Education
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Completion of introductory accounting coursework preferred.
Experience
- Previous accounting, finance, administrative, or office experience preferred but not required.
- Healthcare accounting experience is not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
