What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mammographer - Women's Diagnostics position at Springhill Hospitals Inc?
Position Overview: This is full-time day shift position.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Education Requirements:
- Current ARRT(R)
- Must be Mammography registered or registry eligible.
- Must pass registry within 12 months of being hired.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Card.
- Must obtain by completion of the ninety day probationary period.
- Current BLS or completion by the end of 90 day probationary period.
- Must maintain current compliance for all required MQSA education standards.
Experience:
- Minimum at least 1 year in Radiology preferred.
- Must have documentation of 40 hours initial training in Mammography. Preferred experience in Mammography
- Must have the ability to demonstrate all skills required of a staff mammographer.
- Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions independently.
