What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dialysis Manager position at Springhill Hospitals Inc?
The RN Manager of Acute Dialysis Services is responsible for the clinical, operational, regulatory, and financial oversight of hospital-based acute dialysis services. This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality renal replacement therapy to critically ill and hospitalized patients, in compliance with CMS, The Joint Commission, and state regulations.
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- We are a drug free facility. Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required.
Education/ Licensure/ Certification Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Master’s degree in nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) preferred.
- BLS required; ACLS required within 6 months – 1 year of employment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of dialysis nursing experience
- Prior leadership or management experience in dialysis or acute care setting required
- Hospital-based (acute) dialysis experience strongly preferred
Licenses & Certifications
