What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dental Practice Coordinator position at Springhill Dental and Orthodontics?
Our rapidly growing private practice is adding on a 4 days a week Dental practice coordinator. The minimal responsibilities of the position are as follows:
- Manage the dentist and Hygienist's schedules to ensure they are full and productive
- Prepare and review charts
- Address patient’s concern
- Send and follow-up on patients pre-authorizations, medical clearances
- Offer solutions to the concerns, to include financial solutions
- Review the treatment plans set by the dentist and present to the patients
- Intake of new patients and insurance verifications
- Help with form filling procedures for the new patients
- Enter the treatment plan into the computer as needed
- Check on patients after the initial treatment
- Ensure the schedule runs smoothly during the day and adjust as needed
- Collect payments and co-ordinate with billing department

Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 Years in dental required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
