Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified MedTech to join our Assisted Living team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living with senior's. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, dispensing medication as per physician orders, and ensuring the well-being of patients with diverse needs, including those Alzheimer’s disease, and other memory-related conditions.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support in accordance with established protocols
- Assist in the administration of medications and monitor patient responses
- Perform vital sign assessments and document findings accurately
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
- Quick Mar system for effective patient management.
- Support patients with daily living activities and personal care needs
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols
- Engage with patients to provide emotional support and companionship
Skills
- Experience in assisted living.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with caregiving practices for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or developmental disabilities
- Ability to administer medications safely and effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Compassionate approach to patient care with a focus on dignity and respect
- Understanding of hospice care principles and senior care best practices
