Duties
- Lead, supervise, and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling procedures
- Coordinate employee scheduling, training sessions, and development initiatives to enhance team performance
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems, pricing strategies, and sales transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Conduct interviews, participate in recruiting efforts, and onboard new team members with a focus on employee orientation
- Monitor inventory levels, perform stock checks, and implement inventory control measures to prevent loss
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles with strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, cash handling, and POS systems
- Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and pricing strategies
- Ability to conduct interviews, recruit talent, and facilitate employee training & development
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks is desirable
