Job description:
As the Project Manager, you will oversee multiple projects including contractor and supplier coordination ensuring each one is completed on time and on budget. Must work in accordance with safety standards to ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met, OSHA 1910 and 1926, NFPA, DNR. Must ensure all quality standards are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Check with the site plan/drafting department to ensure all technical renderings are completed and up to date
· Keep in close contact with the permit department on current permitting status
· Qualify subcontractors for installation or other needed service
· Obtain all subcontractor quotes for upcoming installations
· Prepare work orders for production
· Keep track of production schedule and ensure all projects are on target to meet deadlines and shipment dates, this is done through weekly meetings
· Confirm with shipping/receiving department on final load sign off
· Ensure all items that need to be shipped are accounted for, loaded, and tracked throughout delivery to ensure times are met and any damage is reported
· Daily phone calls with sub-contractors to confirm shipments, schedule, and completion dates
· Receive all photos, forms, and invoices from sub-contractors to close out orders
REQUIREMENTS
· Associate’s degree in construction or business field
· One-year project management experience. Sign experience preferred.
· Excellent resource planning and time management skills
· Regular, predictable, and reliable attendance
· Requiring hours of service that would average at least 40 hours of service per week (full time) with possible overtime
· Familiarity with financial and project management principles.
· Accuracy with attention to detail and organization
· Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead
· Must be able to lift and carry 0-20lbs. occasionally
