ANNOUNCEMENT OF SUMMER SCHOOL POSITION

TITLE: ML Summer School ELEMENTARY Student Intern

Rate of Pay: $18.00

FUNDING SOURCE: Title III

DEPARTMENT: Multilingual Language Learners Program

LOCATIONS: Lincoln Elementary School

WORK SCHEDULE: 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, July 6, 2026 - July 30, 2026.

Duties

  • Responsible to the ML Director, program coordinators and classroom teacher.
  • Assist teachers and students in all classroom activities.
  • Assist with the thematic implementation approach.
  • Assist in distributing student materials in the classroom.
  • Breakfast and Lunch duty in the cafeteria with assigned class.
  • Morning and afternoon Bus Duty as assigned by Coordinators.

Qualifications

  • Presently enrolled in a 2-4 year college/university or program of advanced studies (ex. trade school)
  • Ability to communicate with students and teachers.
  • Committed to attendance during the summer program dates.
  • Experience working with students in Grades 1-4 (preferred)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (HiSet)
