What are the responsibilities and job description for the KidsCare Support Staff (SPCS Foundation) position at Springfield Elementary?
TITLE OF POSITION: Support Staff - Non-Certificated DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE TO: KidsCare Program Director, KidsCare Site Director
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: As a member of the KidsCare team, you will be working in SPCS elementary schools during the school year, Program hours: Monday-Friday 6:30-8:15am and/or 3:00-6:00pm. Our goal is to greet families and children daily, and establish and maintain positive relationships in a safe, fun environment. You will lead enrichment and STEM activities, group games, outside play…and the occasional classic board game. Willing to offer Flexible Hours/ Schedule.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: A sincere desire and interest in working with children. Leadership and communication skills to manage and appropriately interact with groups of children. Ability to uphold program policies and procedures. Must be willing to provide availability to work snow and non-school days between the hours of 7am.-5pm.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be at least 16 years of age and of good moral character. Pass background checks and willing to take 6-12 hours of annual training including.
