Shipping Associate

Springfield Creamery is seeking a Shipping Associate who will be working primarily in our cooler and will be engaged in every aspect of order fulfillment. The Shipping Associate will become a vital part of Springfield Creamery’s team that helps keep the facility distributing high quality, probiotic foods to the retail market.

DUTIES AND RESPONSBILITES- to include, but are not limited to:

• Hand-stacking product
• Re-palletizing
• Order building & fulfillment
• Operating pallet jack

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Attention to detail to ensure that all orders are built correctly and costly mistakes are avoided.
• Interpersonal skills to interact with employees, contractors, vendors in a positive and professional manner at all times.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues when they arise
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and have a sense of urgency when needed
• Reliability – begin work on time and conform to work hours and schedule.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment in cold temperatures
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 55 lbs. and operate a pallet jack
• Ability to operate forklift desired but not required
• Must have physical stamina and be able to be active for full shift

COMPENSATION:

• $21.00

WORKDAYS AND HOURS: Four 10-hour shifts; Wednesday - Saturday, 5:00am - 3:00pm

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
