Springfield Creamery, makers of Nancy’s Probiotic Foods, is a family owned and operated company, founded in 1960.

Our A/P Specialist plays an integral role in the success of Springfield Creamery, and we are eager to find a qualified candidate to join our dynamic and supportive team.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Accounts Payable: match purchase orders and receiving documents with invoices, route for approval and process payments to vendors. Follow-up on approvals and other outstanding items to ensure timely payment
• Share light reception duties with A/R Specialist, including opening front gate, checking in guests and assisting occasional front desk traffic
• Provide support to Accounts Receivable department on disputed outstanding A/R balances
• Other administrative tasks as needed
• Cross-train with other administrative/office roles and serve as backup; troubleshoot, plan, and identify improvements to existing processes

• Strong organizational, problem solving and collaboration skills and ability to manage deadlines
• Willingness to adapt to changing needs, learn new skills and take on new responsibilities

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook, with an aptitude to learn new programs
• Experience with ERP accounting software is preferred; this role will require on-the-job training to become proficient working with company’s ERP and accounting software
• Basic understanding of accounting concepts

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION:

• Associate’s degree preferred; minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Accounts Payable experience preferred, followed by other bookkeeping or office experience
• Experience in administration/accounting for manufacturing, consumer products, and/or food industries is a plus.

COMPENSATION:

• $28.00/hr

Scope of Position:

Job Type: This position is full-time, on-site Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm. Occasionally, extended hours may be required.

License: Drivers (Required)
