The Enterprise Process Specialist provides subject matter expertise on all activities supporting the organizational business process lifecycle (modeling, implementation, execution, monitoring and optimization).
Job Relationships
- Reports to the IT Digital Transformation Mgr
- Principal Responsibilities
- Responsible for documenting, analyzing, defining, and owning business and clinical processes at the enterprise level, including the definition of RACI charts, metrics and roadmap of key gaps and improvement areas.
- Serve as the business process lifecycle subject matter expert throughout and across the organization.
- Develop and maintain the Enterprise Process Library and work closely with the Business/Clinical Analysts or SME’s to review and refine business/clinical process workflows identifying areas of possible optimization and automation.
- Provide guidance to project teams in ensuring that proposed applications, equipment, or processes are in alignment with existing workflows.
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives. Execute on continuous process improvements through metrics monitoring and scorecard reporting.
- Educate business users responsible for managing and operating business processes.
- Responsible for quality and adherence to standards and best practices of BPMN 2.0 standards. Responsible for ensuring process compliance throughout the enterprise.
- Assist in strategic planning and process improvement prioritization events for the organization.
- Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
- Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
- Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Math, Finance, Nursing, or related field required.
- Minimum 1 -2 years of experience in business process improvement and/or 2-3 years project management experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience applying the expertise of at least one key business process improvement methodology to drive process improvements (Lean, Six Sigma - Green Belt/Black Belt)
- Experience with Visio and other Office 365 applications.
- Experience leading small teams.
Certifications/Licenses
- Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
- BPM certification preferred.
