What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Scan Clerk position at Springfield Clinic?
The Accounts Payable Scan Clerk is responsible for the review and accuracy of all Accounts Payable documents attached within the financials system.
Job Relationships
- Reports to the Manager of Accounts Payable
Principal Responsibilities
- Review and maintenance of Accounts Payable scanned invoices/invoice support.
- Maintenance of Accounts Payable packing slips as needed.
- Sort, stamp and distribute daily mail.
- Assist Manager of Accounts Payable and Accounts Payable Clerks with all projects within scope of responsibility.
- Assist Accounts Payable Clerks with packing slip processing as needed.
- Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
- Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
- Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
- High School graduate or GED required. Computer experience preferred. Clerical/file or data entry experience preferred.

- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work with a wide variety of initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers and superiors.
- Strong organizational skills.
Working Environment
- Normal office equipment, sitting 90% of the time.
