Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets within assigned territories.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through lead generation, cold calling, and networking.
- Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, product demos, and upselling opportunities.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to retail partners, distributors, and potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.
- Track sales activities, manage customer information, and analyze sales data.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to maximize revenue while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to develop territory-specific campaigns and promotional strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Provide feedback from clients to the management team to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management within the beverage or related industry preferred.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques including negotiation, lead generation, upselling, and analysis skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to conduct engaging product demos and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability in account management, business development, and managing a territory effectively.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to retail sales and direct sales channels is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the capacity for strategic planning and territory analysis.
- A valid driver’s license is required for territory travel; willingness to travel frequently within assigned regions is essential.
