Summary
We are seeking an Education and Logistics Coordinator to join our team at the Springfield Arts Council. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing logistics operations for our performing arts programs, ensuring that all materials and resources are effectively coordinated for events and educational initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage and evaluate Arts in the Classroom and BrightLight school education series
- Provide outreach of performing arts programs to community populations to increase exposure to and participation in performing arts.
- Develops AIC survey tools to inform SAC of school interests, needs, requirements. Attend AIC performances; administers and collects survey responses from teachers and administrators.
- Assist Executive Director in implementation of Youth Arts Ambassadors programming; including but not limited to; workshops, Dinner Theater, and Junior Theater Festival logistics.
- Work with Executive Director and Development and Operations Director to collect information and documentation to support Arts in Education-related grants, letters of intent, applications and reports.
- Assist in collaborations with other community organizations (Project Jericho, Springfield Museum of Art, Co-Hatch, Mother Stewarts, etc.)
- Represent the Springfield Arts Council in community groups (Wittenberg Community Service Partnerships, Greater Springfield Young Professionals, Youth Arts Coalition, etc.)
- Work with Development and Operations Director in planning and implementation of fundraising events; assists with and supports Salute preparations, fall fundraiser, and golf scramble, etc
- Manage the grounds crew and facilities during the Summer Arts Festival.
Requirements
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or a related field.
- Proven experience in performing arts (preferably in theatre education).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in data analysis tools.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with artists, parents, students, and team members.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39,217.00 - $42,000.00 per year
