Aircraft Detailer Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Aircraft Detailer to join our team. This position is responsible for providing high-quality interior and exterior aircraft detailing services while maintaining strict safety, cleanliness, and professionalism standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, can operate independently, and is committed to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced aviation environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complete interior and exterior aircraft detailing services
- Conduct bright work polishing, paint revitalization, de-ice boot refurbishment, and application of protective coatings
- Follow all FAA strict chemical handling guidelines and company SOP cleaning procedures
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address damages, stains, oxidation, corrosion, or imperfections
- Collaborate with aircraft owners, operators, pilots, and maintenance personnel to identify detailing requirements and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Properly use and maintain detailing equipment, ladders, scaffolding, and specialized tools
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently while meeting high-quality standards
- Travel to customer locations as required, including occasional overnight stays
- Wear company-issued uniforms at all times for identification, professionalism, and safety purposes
Requirements:
- Valid driving license with a clean driving record for moving vehicles or aircraft support equipment.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Comfortable working from ladders, elevated platforms, confined spaces, and around aircrafts
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and strong punctuality
- Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call work when needed
- Ability to follow strict safety procedures and chemical compliance standards
- Strong communication and professionalism when interacting with customers and aviation personnel
- Must maintain a professional appearance and comply with company uniform requirements
- Prior detailing, aviation, or polishing experience preferred, but willingness to learn is valued

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
