What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Dietitian position at Springcreek Rehabilitation & Nursing Center?
Avon Healthcare is GROWING and we are looking for a full time Registered Dietitian to join our team in Adrian, MI! Candidate would travel to our two sister facilities (both located in Adrian, MI) on a weekly basis to provide support to the facility dietary managers, conduct assessments & provide nutritional support. Position is a hybrid role of in person & remote work.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine nutritional needs and develop personalized dietary plans
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients on various health conditions and dietary restrictions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal nutrition outcomes
- Utilize diagnostic evaluation tools to assess patients' nutritional status and make appropriate recommendations
- Strong patient assessment skills to evaluate nutritional needs and develop tailored dietary plans
- Proficiency in tube feeding techniques and knowledge of different types of feeding tubes
