- needs to be available until 9:30am or 5pm â may depend on covered schedule
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assists the bus driver in maintaining good conduct of all students assigned to the aide.
- Assists young or disabled students in getting on and off the bus.
- Provides basic first aid and administers prescription medications as needed.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
- Demonstrates positive relationship with students, staff and parents.
- Establishes a supportive and empathetic relationship with students.
- Performs related duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Valid Ohio Student Monitor Permit (may be obtained after employment).
- Must possess valid Ohio driver's license.
- Must pass criminal background check.
- Effective Date: ASAP
- Terms of Employment: One-year probationary period.
- Hours of Work: 6:10-8:00am AND 2:00 â 4:15pm (approx.. 4 hours)
- Salary and Benefits: According to the current negotiated agreement. $16.25/hour
