Experienced mechanic needed
Currently hiring an experienced automotive technician to join a well established team of professionals. Most employees have been here for over 13 years. Sign on bonus for qualified applicants. We stay very busy but have a laid back atmosphere. Customer satisfaction is our top priority but not at the expense of the technician. There isn't enough room here to really tell you about our shop. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience beyond oil changes and tires. Brake jobs, water pumps, struts, axle replacement, scan tool experience and diagnostic abilities, just to name a few common needs. Must have a good general mechanical skill set and a good set of tools. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Candidates must also be drug free and able to pass a drug test on request.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes and fluid checks.
- Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend repairs.
- Utilize hand and power tools for mechanical repairs and vehicle alignment.
- Maintain knowledge of automotive electrical systems and powertrains.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
Summary
As an Automotive Technician, you will be essential in diagnosing and repairing vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will utilize your core skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance to perform tasks such as oil changes and general repairs. Your premium skills in dealership experience and familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) will enhance service quality. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and auto body repair will help foster strong relationships with clients, contributing to the overall success of our automotive service team.
