Job Summary
The People Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting our talent and people operations initiatives. This position is responsible for coordinating this full-cycle recruitment process, from partnering with hiring managers to posting roles, screening candidates, and ensuring a seamless interview and onboarding experience. The coordinator will manage candidate pipelines in our applicant tracking system, maintain up to date records, and help create a positive candidate journey. In addition to recruitment, this role supports onboarding, updates and maintains people operations processes and SOPs, and contributes to broader team projects. This is a collaborative role within the People Operations team, requiring strong organization skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting both candidates and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities as a People Ops Coordinator
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements
· Create and post job advertisements across various platforms
· Screen resumes and applications; conduct initial interviews
· Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring teams, ensuring an efficient process
· Manage candidate pipeline and maintain up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system
· Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
· Stay informed on employment laws, recruitment best practices, and industry trends
· Support new hire onboarding, including preparing paperwork, facilitating orientation, and coordinating training schedules
· Maintain and update employee personnel files, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable laws
· Track completion of required onboarding documentation and certifications
· Update and maintain SOPs, forms, and templates related to recruitment, onboarding, and people operations processes
· Oversee and manage the employee referral program to attract top talent
· Maintain complete knowledge of Springbone’s policies and procedures and ensures that all practices and policies are being upheld
· Plan and execute onsite recruitment fairs
· Prepare and send offer letters
· Ensure legal compliance and validity of recruitment activities by educating staff on policies and procedures
· Complete any other duties as assigned by management
What You’ll Do as a People Ops Coordinator

· Ability to work onsite; this is not a remote or hybrid position
· Bilingual, fluent in verbal, reading and writing skills in English and Spanish
· Willing to travel to other states as needed
· Flexible availability and able to travel between store locations
· Ability to utilize software programs such as Outlook, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), Toast POS, MarginEdge, Slack, and any additional systems as needed; Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system
· Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Positive attitude with ability to uphold high standards and work effectively with diverse teams
· 2 years of experience in recruiting and talent selection in the hospitality industry preferred
