Your Role:
Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Client Services of Carroll County, the School Based Behavioral Health Clinician provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and youth-centered therapeutic services to students within Carroll County Public Schools (CCPS). Services are designed to improve mental health outcomes, promote student well-being, and align with educational goals.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapeutic counseling services in office and telehealth environments
- Complete an initial service plan in collaboration with the student, family, and school personnel that identifies short- and long-term treatment goals; review and update at least semi-annually.
- Maintain a weekly average of 25 billable events
- Document therapeutic services, client/collateral contacts, and other service delivery in the electronic health record according to agency/ CARF/ HIPAA standards
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure clients receive comprehensive care.
School based clinicians will provide in-person services at four school sites an average of 15 hours each week. These hours may vary based on the needs and caseload of students. The remainder of their time will be spent at Springboard Community Services’ Carroll County office
