About the Role:
A Place At Home Towson is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aide to join their team in Sykesville, MD! Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation as needed
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding according to client dietary needs
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
- Previous experience as a Home Care Aide, CNA, caregiver, or in a related healthcare role preferred
- Genuine compassion, patience, and dedication to client well-being
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to client homes in the Sykesville, MD area
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans accurately
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
- Must be dependable, punctual, and professional
