- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting cigars, accessories, and related products based on their preferences and experience levels
- Provide detailed product knowledge, including cigar types, flavor profiles, and proper storage techniques
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of cigar inventory and retail space
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Educate customers on cigar etiquette, pairing suggestions with beverages like craft beers, spirits, or wines
- Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks
- Uphold food safety standards when handling tobacco products and accessories
- Assist with special events or tastings to promote new products and engage customers in the community
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, food service, or hospitality industry preferred, especially with fine dining or beverage environments
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with an energetic and approachable demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with beverage recipe development, mixology, wine knowledge, or craft beer experience is a plus
- Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and retail math calculations
