Program Support - Children's Services
Pay starting from $17.75, commensurate with experience
Job Type: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Overview
To provide clerical support for direct service staff and programs within the identified department.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- To work cohesively and provide clerical support for clinical providers and programs in children's services.
- Perform work duties in a pleasant and efficient manner.
- Complete accurate and timely data entry, admissions, discharges and edits.
- Complete a weekly review of PR groups for accuracy of billing.
- Receive and assist clients and staff with regards to appointment scheduling.
- Provide general clerical support including word processing, filing, and general office procedures.
- Maintain and re-order supplies for designated work area.
- Assist with foster care referrals including gathering referrals and required paperwork, entering data/scanning in documents, and completing KDADS spreadsheet.
- Scoring CBCL, TRF and YSR.
- Scan in documents for children's staff in Riverton, including waiver documents.
- Prepare shopping list and purchase supplies for activities, curriculum, seasonal needs (graduation, holiday parties, client birthdays) and food on a weekly basis. Distribute food and supplies to appropriate areas in both Riverton and Columbus. Complete purchase requests and turn in to supervisor.
- Update transport logs as needed.
- Determine staffing for routes.
- Mail letters to waiver clients asking them to get a Kan Be Healthy appointment scheduled.
- Collect completed mileage logs from PR vehicles and replace new mileage logs every month.
- Other duties as assigned by the Children Services Director.

- Ability to work under high stress conditions for long periods of time
- Ability to hear normal range of voice
- Ability to prepare written reports and use telephone equipment
- Computer keyboard/monitor work
- Prolonged data entry and viewing monitor for extended periods
- Normal office environment
- Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions in a clinic environment
- Occasional exposure to aggressive or violent customers
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in filing, word processing, reception, telephone skills, and high attention to detail
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to work with co-workers and the public in a friendly and supportive manner
- Must be reliable and bonded for handling funds of Spring River Mental Health & Wellness, Inc.
