Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in at least 2 or 3 of the following areas: HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, hydraulics, robotics, and livestock management, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively to ensure optimal performance of our systems.
Duties
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment including: robots, pumps and motors, refrigeration cooling units, and electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage applications).
- Troubleshoot issues using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to ensure the efficient operation of equipment.
- Conduct inspections and tests on equipment to identify malfunctions or areas needing improvement.
- Collaborate with customers to provide technical sales support, ensuring they understand product features and benefits.
- Utilize logic controllers for automation processes and system enhancements.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with high voltage systems and other potentially hazardous materials.
Experience
- Proven experience in electrical systems maintenance and repair is essential.
- Familiarity with hydraulics and their applications in various machinery is preferred.
- Previous experience in technical sales is a plus, enhancing the ability to communicate effectively with customers.
- Proficiency in English is required for clear communication with team members and customers.
- Experience working with logic controllers will be beneficial for this role.
- Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A clean driving record is required.
