What are the responsibilities and job description for the Precast Concrete Foreman position at Spring Prairie HB Inc?
The Precast Concrete Foreman is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Wysan Precast labor crews on the erection process for precast concrete for commercial and industrial projects. This position will work closely with all other personnel on site to ensure safety, quality, delivery and productivity of each crew.
Essential Functions |
- This position will lead crews in from start to finish on the erection process of precast concrete.
- The Precast Concrete Foreman will be responsible for verifying the proper use of materials, equipment, tools, etc.
- Throughout the erection process, this position will monitor quality control, safety, and will manage all employees in a crew. This will entail monitoring time cards, attendance, assisting with onboarding of new hires, etc.
- This role will coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors to schedule and complete work efficiently.
- Work with Human Resources to manage open positions.
- Assist with determining open positions and department numbers based on needs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all operations.
- This role will lead the training and mentoring processes for all new hires as well as existing employees. This position will take the lead in ensuring training in all applicable areas and proper use of equipment.
- The Precast Concrete Foreman will maintain daily reports including quantities of materials used, completed tasks, and crew performance as well as any other information or data that needs to be reported and documented.
- This position will troubleshoot field issues and implement corrective measures.
- Execute other duties as assigned.
Requirements: |
Required: High School diploma or the equivalent.
- Precast Concrete experience required.
- Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Physically able to bend, lift, stoop, and climb.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Climb, reach, utlize hand tools and other equipment as needed.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be willing and able to travel, work overtime, and work weekends as needed.
