Position Summary:
As a Certified Medication Assistant, you will be responsible for administering medications and providing personal care services to residents in accordance with state regulations and individualized care plans. You will work closely under the supervision of the Director of Nursing or a designated nurse supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer routine medications as per state guidelines
- Provide personal care, support, and supervision to residents
- Follow individualized service plans
- Collaborate professionally with residents, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid CNA License or CHHA Certification
- Current Medication Aide Certification (required)
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
- Compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to senior care
- Understanding of the aging process and elder support
