Role Description
The Culinary and Hospitality Services Coordinator is responsible for the overall operation of all Food and Beverage Services for the Assisted Living Community
Qualifications
- Responsible for inventory control and product orders.
- Planning of staff schedules for food preparation, serving, and clean up
- Implementation and changes to menus
- Ensure that a daily preparation plan is reviewed with the prep staff each day, at least
- one day in advance
- Supervise and participate in food preparation for meals
- Plan and provide catering services within the community.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment in cooperation with the Executive Director
- Ensure that the dining area is set and maintained
- Responsible for meeting budget requirements for supplies, food, and labor costs
- Assist in recruitment, orientation, and training of Dietary Aides.
- Responsible for overall resident satisfaction with dining program.
- Must complete all orientation and training requirements as outlined by state
- regulations
- Ensure kitchen's compliance with all local, state and federal standards
- Maintain current local, state, and federal license to operate commercial kitchen, if
- applicable
- Maintain local and state certification to perform their duties, if applicable
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of five years cooking experience or culinary school and one year of
- management experience in a kitchen setting required
- Quality catering and dining presentation experience preferred
- PC software proficiency preferred
