Job Description & Responsibilities:

SAC will possess the following qualifications and carry out the subsequent duties as follows:
Qualifications
- Current Peer Support Certification
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Minimum of 1 year working with the adult Mental Health/Substance Use population, preferably in a community setting
Responsibilities
· Assist clients with self-determination and decision-making
- Model recovery values, attitudes, beliefs, and personal action to encourage wellness
- Teach and promote self-advocacy and wellness management
- Provide linkage to community resources
- Maintain and submit required documentation (treatment plans, WRAP, service notes, service authorization requests, etc.)
- Build professional relationships with community agencies and referral sources to establish and maintain Spring Life as a resource for individuals desiring peer support recovery
- Collaborate with Qualified Professional, Licensed Professional and members in identifying interventions aimed at helping members reach their goals as outlined in the treatment plan
Job Types: Contract, Part-time, Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kinston, NC 28501: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
