Description
As a bartender at the B&T, you will interact with our members and their guests at the most intimate level. Responsible for greeting members and their guests, taking drink/food orders, mixing ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and sugar to prepare cocktails and other drinks, as well as serving beer and other beverages, and charging accordingly, providing the highest quality of service to the members at all times; performs all other responsibilities as directed by management.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
Stocks Bar And Completes Other Pre-opening Requirements
Receive tickets in the printers from the service staff and complete those tickets in a timely manner
Mix liquor, soft drinks, water and other ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks
Prepare mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer and non-alcoholic beverages for food and beverage servers
Prepares garnishes, fruit mixes, and pre-mixed drinks prior to opening the bar
Receiving and placing food orders for the members from the lunch menu, and the a la carte dinner menu,
Maintain control on inventory and ensure all beverages sold are accounted for
Carry out any other tasks as assigned
Job Qualifications And Experience
Availability to work varying schedules including weekends and holidays to reflect the business needs of the dining floor
Prefer bartending experience with knowledge of wines, liquor and beer
Must take online NJ Alcohol certification for the B&T
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Frequent lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
