As the Assistant Director - Performance Designations & Teacher Retention, you will oversee key strategies to enhance teacher retention and performance-based development programs. You will lead initiatives to monitor, evaluate, and optimize teacher performance designations, implementing strategic plans, performance management systems, and mentoring programs. The role also entails tracking data to develop actionable insights, managing budgets related to programs, and collaborating with district administrators to address challenges. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, TX.
- Strong Analytical Skills, including the ability to evaluate data and provide actionable insights
- Competence in Budgeting and effectively allocating resources for program management
- Proficiency in Performance Management and driving teacher retention strategies
- Experience in Strategic Planning and developing long-term initiatives for teacher development and support
- Solid Project Management skills to oversee various programs and ensure successful implementation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Experience working in education leadership roles is highly desirable
