Reporting to the Director of Resident Care, you will be an essential part of our team, enhancing the well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare, assist, and document medication administration (oral, topical, injectable) as ordered by physicians
- Follow all labeling, safety, and community procedures
- Assist with medication charting and documentation of expired/discontinued medications
- Measure, record, and report residents' vital signs
- Ensure residents self-administer medications when appropriate
- Support residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting
- Follow residents’ service plans and abide by health and safety regulations
- Respect Residents’ Rights and report concerns promptly
- Maintain familiarity with emergency procedures and equipment
- Compassionate Nature: A genuine desire to improve residents' lives through compassionate care.
- Strong Communicator: Ability to effectively convey information to residents, families, and colleagues.
- Detail-Oriented: Attentive to detail in following care plans and maintaining documentation.
- Team Player: Willingness to collaborate with others and support your teammates.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or six months to one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid Certification as a Med Tech (CMT) in the state of Ohio.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, professional care.
