Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that guests receive exceptional service while maximizing revenue and maintaining efficient operations. This role requires a proactive approach to guest relations, staff management, and financial oversight.
Duties
- Lead and manage all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
- Supervise staff and provide training to ensure high standards of customer service and hospitality.
- Oversee budgeting and financial management, including revenue management strategies to maximize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as company policies.
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure quality standards are met in all areas.
- Ensure adequate coverage of all shifts, complete weekly schedules, maintain staffing levels as needed
- Handle night audits and ensure accurate reporting of daily financial transactions.
- Maintain knowledge of local attractions and events to assist guests with inquiries and enhance their experience.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by Brand or Management Companies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Experience in supervising staff and leading teams effectively.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles and budgeting processes.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, multi-line phone systems, and phone etiquette.
- Ability to build positive relationships with guests and staff alike while maintaining professionalism at all times.
