Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms to meet high standards of hygiene.
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and other supplies to ensure guest needs are met promptly.
- Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, and performing specialized floor care to keep all areas spotless and safe.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold room quality.
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests.
- Assist with overall janitorial tasks around the hotel premises as needed, supporting the cleanliness of public areas.
- Work efficiently within a team to meet daily cleaning schedules while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards for guest service excellence.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and moving furniture or supplies.
