Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Perform detailed cleaning tasks such as window cleaning, floor care, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms through regular janitorial duties.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly during chemical handling and cleaning procedures to ensure safety.
- Conduct pressure washing and heavy lifting tasks for larger cleaning projects or equipment maintenance when required.
- Follow infection control protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
Requirements
- Proven custodial or janitorial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, sanitation, and floor care.
- Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, and other janitorial tools.
- Ability to handle chemicals safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
- Familiarity with infection control procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
