Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, ensuring quality and presentation meet established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, including tables, counters, and equipment
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff
- Operate kitchen equipment such as toasters, coffee machines, and warming stations safely and efficiently
- Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks in accordance with health regulations
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems and handle weight-based food items with care
- Provide friendly, in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing special dietary needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitizing procedures is essential
- Ability to handle manual tasks such as lifting trays or boxes and operating kitchen equipment safely
- Familiarity with basic math for cash handling and portion control
- Experience with catering, banquet service, or culinary roles is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to work early mornings or flexible shifts in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of wine or beverage service is advantageous but not required
